Rape cases in India

Today i am going to write on that topic which is very very sensitive. That is Rape.

Women security is the main issue after Delhi gang rape case in 2012. But since 2012 to till now govt did not take any major step for this.

I wanna want to know that in only gang rape cases rapist will get the punishment of death. Why india don't have any strict rule on this crime. If i will talk about this i heard that "A decent girl won't roam around at 9 o'clock at night. ... Housework and housekeeping is for girls, not roaming in discos and bars at night doing wrong things, wearing wrong clothes," Is this the real reason behind that? Can those people give it in written? Can these people give this in written that if girls will not wear western dresses, will not roam around 9 o'clock at night then they will remain safe and if inspite of these things, a single girl has been raped then those particular peoples will be hanged till death? If  not then i will say that no need to give these type of comments.

Some Widely covered Rape casees are as follows:

Aruna Shanbaug Case:

Its a oldest rape case covered by media in 1973. Aruna Shanbaug was a nurse and she was raped a contracted sweeper Sohan Lal Bhartha Walmiki while working as Junior nurse at KEM hospital in Mumbai. Aruna had been living the torture since her assault on the night of 27 November 1973, which left her in a vegetative state. She lost her power of speech, she lost the ability to move her limbs, and underwent partial blindness. Sohanlan choked her by with a dog chain that cut off the oxygen supply to her brain and caused the life-long damage. Her euthanasia plea was rejected by supreme court in 2011 but the landmark judgment was made to allow passive euthanasia in India. She is no more. She died at KEm hospital mumbai on May 18, 2015.

Can those people feel her pain fromm which she suffered from that black night of her life till her death? If not then no need to give the cheap and non logical comments on rape cases.

Mathura Case:

This rape-case is the landmark of Indian women's right movement history. Mathura, a tribal girl, was raped by two policemen in the Chandrapur district  of Maharashtra, in 1972. Initially the policemen were acquitted by the sessions court as the girl was said to have been “habituated to sexual intercourse”. Maharashtra High Court reversed the judgment which was again reversed by the Supreme Court. This shows the inherent patriarchal attitude of the Indian judicial system at that time. Later large protests led to formation of women’s rights group and a subsequent change in the Indian rape law.

Priyadarshini Mattoo Rape and Murder:

Another case was Priyadashini matto rape and murder case. In 1996,  Priyadashini  Matto who was a 25 years old law student raped by Santosh Kumar Singh in her house in New Delhi. Initially the trial court acquitted Santosh but because of media pressure Delhi high court made a landmark judgement and sentenced him to death. Because of media Victim got the justice.

Can anyone tell me that how that rapist and murderer acquitted  by trial court even Priyadarshini not only raped by this man even murdered by this man?

Anjana Mishra Rape:

In 1999, this case was a high profile rape case. Anjana was the wife of a Indian Forest Officer and she had filled a complaint with the CM of Orissa, J.B. Patnaik against the then advocate general of Orrisa, Indrajit Ray, who had attempted to rape her in 1997. Patnaik tried to shield Ray and later in 1999, she was attacked on her way to Bhubaneshwar by three men and was gang raped in front of her friend with whom she was travelling. Indrajit Ray got 3 years imprisonment for attempted rape while the accused among three three were sentenced to life imprisonment after a CBI enquiry and the third one is still absconding.

Soumya Murder Case:

Soumya, a 23 year old girl attacked by Govindachami to rob her in ladies compartment when she was travelling on a train from Erankulam to Shornur in Kerala. He smashed her head against the wall when she resisted, pushed her hands into the gap of a closing door and threw her out of the train. He then jumped out of the speeding train, carried her to the woods near the track and then brutally raped her. She was a supermarket assistant in Kochi. She was travelling back to her home for her engagement ceremony.
Can those people feel the pain of her injuries which gives the nonsense comments on these type os cases just to come in headlines?

Mumbai Gang Rape:

The 2013 Mumbai gang rape,in which a 22-year-old photojournalist, was gang-raped by five persons, including a juvenile, when she had gone to deserted Shakti Mills compound,in South Mumbai, with a male coworker on an assignment on 22 August. Noot only these five peoples raped her, accused took photos also of the victim during the sexual assault, and threatened to release them to social networks if she reported the rape.

Bhanwari Devi Gang Rape:

In 1992, Bhanwari Devi was gang raped by 5 high caste men of her village, when she raised her hand against child marriage. She was a grassroots level worker in Bhateri village under the WDP in Rajasthan. This case is very important link for the women’s rights movement in Rajasthan and India.

Can you guys tell me that Bhanwari devi raped because she wore western dress or she was raped because she roam after 9pm, no, she was raped because she was against child marriage. So please grow up and try to find out the real reason behind this type of cheap activity.

Scarlett Keeling Rape and Murder:

Scarlett, 15 years old, British schoolgirl raped and murdered by her 25 years old Indian boyfriend. she was a British tourist visiting India with her family, and she was raped while her family travelled along the coast. She was sexually assaulted and left for dead on a beach in the Indian holiday state in February 2008 after taking a cocktail of drugs.  The media covered this story as everybody ganged up against the bohemian lifestyle of her family and blamed her mother for her carelessness. It shows that how in India most people still believe that "bad" women deserve getting raped.

Can those peoples give this in written that their daughter or sister or wife never did anything bad or their lifestyle doen't come in this category?

Imrana Rape Case:

That case of  a 28-year-old Indian Muslim woman who was raped by her father in law in Uttar Pradesh and the village elders treated it as a case of adultery instead of rape.Village elders ordered  Imrana to leave her husband and consider herself married to her father in law.The village elders and subsequently, several levels of Islamic legal opinion regarded Imrana's marriage with her husband null, as the Sharia regards sexual relations with both the father and son as incestuous.Imrana, a mother of 5 children raped by her 69-year-old father-in-law Ali Mohammad.
After lot of media pressure and Imrana efforts she got justice as her father in law was sentenced to a term of 10 years of imprisonment.

Yes, where is that western dress drama in this case? The reason behind rap is only and only the accused mentality nothing else.

Delhi Gang Rape:

In 2012, a 23-year-old, female physiotherapy intern, Jyoti Singh, was beaten and gang raped in a private bus in which she was travelling with her male friend, on 16 December 2012 in Munirka, a neighbourhood in South Delhi. including the driver they are 6 people who raped her and beat her male friend. She was brutally raped and injured by inserting an iron rod in her vagina. After 13 days the assualt she was transfered to a hospital in Singapore for emergency treatment, but died from her injuries two days later. That rod was later described by police as being a rusted, L-shaped implement of the type used as a wheel jack handle.

Can anyone tell me that is Jyoti Singh weared that much worst clothes that these peoples inserted a iron rod in her vagina? To roam at 9 pm is that much big mistake that these peoples got the right to insert a rod? No these are only excuses and these peoples support rape in india. if a girl wore western dress that doesn't mean that people got the right to rape that girl.

Swine Flu symptomes, Causes and Home Remedies to avoid Swine Flu

Swine flu, also known as the H1N1 virus, made headlines in 2009 when it was declared a pandemic. Pandemics are contagious diseases affecting people throughout the world or on multiple continents at the same time. H1N1 has already been seen in 74 countries across the globe. This viruses infect the respiratory tract of pigs and result in a barking cough, decreased appetite, nasal secretions, and listless behaviour; the virus can be transmitted to humans.

The symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of other strains of seasonal flu:

  • Temperature over 38C/100.4F
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Headache
  • Runny nose
  • Sore throat
  • Shortness of breath or cough
  • Loss of appetite
  • Aching muscles
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting

Things For the people who are sick to help yourself get better and prevent the spread of the virus by doing the following:

  • Don't go for work or scholl if you are sick. Need to stay at home.
  • Sick people should stay at least 1 metre away from other people.
  • Take rest and drink plenty of fluids.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and throw your used tissue in the garbage. If you do not have tissue available, cough or sneeze into your sleeve or hands, away from others and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water throughout the day and make sure to wash your hands with soap for at least 15 seconds. If you don't have access to soap and water, Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

There are ways to protect yourself from catching the swine flu virus:

  • You should avoid close contact with people who are sick and who have symptoms of swine flu (e.g., fever, cough, sore throat).
  • Wash your hands with soap and water frequently and thoroughly. To ensure proper sanitization, you should wash your hands with soap for at least 15 seconds. Use alcohol-based sanitizers if hand-washing is not convenient same as above i have mention.
  • Get an annual influenza immunization (flu shot). This may not protect you from swine flu, but it can prevent some strains of human influenza. This helps avoid the situation of becoming infected with both swine and human influenza at the same time.
  • Practise good health habits such as getting enough sleep, eating a nutritious diet, and staying physically active.

Home Remedies for Swine Flu:

1. Have five duly washed leaves of Tulsi (known as Basil in English; medicinal name Ocimum sanctum) everyday in the morning.
2. A small piece of camphor (kapoor) approximately the size of a tablet should be taken once or twice a month.
3. Those who can take garlic, must have two pods of raw garlic first thing in the morning.
4. Those not allergic to milk, must take a glass of hot or lukewarm milk every night with a small measure of haldi (turmeric).
5. Aloe vera (gwarpatha) too is a commonly available plant. Its thick and long, cactus-like leaves have an odourless gel. A teaspoon gel taken with water daily can work wonders for not only your skin and joint pains, but also boost immunity.
